Rasmus Højlund to be sold at a bargain price

Rasmus Højlund could leave Manchester United

Manchester United are planning major changes in the summer of 2025, and one of the players likely to depart is Rasmus Højlund. The Danish striker does not feature in manager Rúben Amorim’s future plans.

Disappointing season after a promising start

Højlund impressed at Atalanta, earning a move to Manchester United for £75 million. While his debut season showed promise with 16 goals, this campaign has been far from successful. He has only netted seven times in 30 appearances, and Amorim does not see him as a key player going forward. His last goal came on December 12, when he scored twice in a 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.

Juventus leading the race

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Højlund for £42 million, which would represent a significant financial loss. According to JuveLive, Juventus are the frontrunners for his signature, as they seek a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who is expected to leave.

Besides Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are also said to be interested, but the Turin-based club appears to be ahead in the race.
