Luke Shaw has played only five matches for Manchester United in the past year.
The English full-back was on the verge of making a comeback after a long injury layoff, but he has now suffered yet another setback, according to 90min.com.
The 29-year-old was seen back in training last week, and everything indicated that he was getting closer to returning to action.

Shaw, who has been extremely injury-prone throughout his United career, has hardly been available for Rúben Amorim. Therefore, it was encouraging news when he appeared to be nearing a return. However, according to multiple reports, Shaw has encountered another issue.

Speculation began on social media on Wednesday morning, with reports suggesting that the unfortunate full-back would once again have to postpone his return to the pitch. Some even claimed that he could be out for another month.
Chris Wheeler from the Daily Mail has, however, played down the severity of the injury. He insists that the injury “is not too serious,” according to an update on the social media platform X.

The Telegraph reports that Luke Shaw is expected to be back in training as early as next Monday. Thus, the Portuguese United manager could soon benefit from having the defender available again, although Shaw now faces stiff competition from Danish player Patrick Dorgu.
