15-year-old could make debut in United-match

A mere 15-year-old player could make his senior debut on Friday night when Manchester United and Leicester face off in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that young winger Jeremy Monga will be part of the squad for the match.

A Rising Talent

15-year-old Jeremy Monga is one of Leicester’s most promising talents, and the club has high expectations for him. At the same time, there is a conscious effort not to put too much pressure on the young midfielder.

Nevertheless, he could potentially make his senior debut on one of the biggest stages in English football. The FA Cup clash will take place at the iconic Old Trafford, which is expected to be fully packed.

Impressive Performances at Youth Level

Monga has already showcased his skills in Leicester’s U21 team in Premier League 2 this season. So far, he has played six matches, contributing both a goal and an assist.

Additionally, he has excelled in the Premier League U18, where he has recorded four appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

More Young Players in the Squad

Monga is a product of Leicester’s academy, which the club takes great pride in. However, he is not the only young talent who might get playing time against Manchester United.

Van Nistelrooy has also confirmed that 16-year-old Jake Evans will be part of the squad for Friday’s fixture.
