– Christian Eriksen is finished!

Young darts world champion Luke Litler is a big Manchester United supporter, and he does not hide his love for the club. In a new interview with Viaplay expert Jan Mølby, Litler reveals that he has played darts with Christian Eriksen.

At the same time, he believes that the Danish midfielder is nearing the end of his time at Manchester United.

Litler: – I see Eriksen on his way out

In the conversation with Mølby, Litler is asked whether he thinks Eriksen is reaching the end:

– Do you think he is reaching the end? Mølby asks.

– Yes, Litler replies. – I wouldn’t say the end of his career, but we signed Christian on a free transfer. His first season was really good, and he contributed goals and assists last season as well. He has a couple of assists this season, but I see him as on his way out.

Mølby then comments that time catches up with us all.

Christian Eriksen is under contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2025 after signing a three-year deal in 2022. According to Manchester Evening News, the club must soon make an important decision regarding Eriksen and three other players.

Believes in success for Højlund

Mølby further asks Litler if he thinks another Dane, Rasmus Højlund, can achieve success at Manchester United.

– Yes, he was given a huge responsibility when he arrived. He scored in the Champions League, and as soon as he got his first goal in the Premier League, we all knew he would get going, says Litler.

Højlund has shown improving form in recent weeks, and United fans hope he can become an important asset for the team moving forward.
