Tyrell Malacia moves to a top club

Tyrell Malacia was close to joining Benfica, but the deal collapsed at the last moment. Now, it looks like the Dutchman will still leave Manchester United during this transfer window.

Set for a return to Dutch football

According to Voetbal International, Malacia is now on the verge of returning to Dutch football on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Reports indicate that he is close to joining Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. He is expected to undergo a medical examination soon, meaning the move could be completed before the transfer window closes.

Injury struggles halted his progress

The left-back was signed from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022 for around £11 million. In his first season, he played regularly under Erik ten Hag, but a long-term injury sidelined him for over a year.
